- Upon the conclusion of the Festival, Drakes return to Cantha to continue Dragon research, making a brief stop in Elona.

- Jormag and Primordus destroy each other and the released magic flows south.

- As the dragon conflict comes to an end, everyone is afforded a prolonged RnR for recuperation, though general study activities are not interrupted.

- As news of Aurene’s efforts to stop the Dragonbrand reach the Drakes, their mission parameters change and their new goal is to study the progress, the camp relocates to Grothmar in Northern Ascalon.
- With information of Jormag’s activity and the tragedy befalling Vigil coming from the Shiverpeaks, a contingent of Durmand Drakes moves to Bjora Marches to investigate.
- Palawa Joko recovers and begins spreading the Scarab Plague, before his death. Kralkatorrik invades the Mists.
- Zephyrites recover and bring back the Festival of the Four Winds.

- Disobeying orders in favour of her own plan, Maara incurs the wrath of her Legionnaire who shoots her in a fit of rage as the situation escalates.
- Saved by medic Ragor Grawlbane, but these events pave a way for deconstruction of Ironfang Mercenaries as the bandmates were unwilling to follow Revakara's rule.
- After a period of downtime and minor work with the Priory, she makes regular visits to her friend Sroana, getting introduced to the Legionnaire Imga Ironcog and the Cog Warband.
- Never becoming a warband member, Maara mostly remains an auxiliary to Cog.
- Assisting Latash during a grievous injury puts the two on the path to becoming close friends and later brief partnership along with Krisara Goretalon.

- In an attack on a supposedly lightly defended forward outpost the warband is surprised by a large human contingent preparing an attack.
- During their retreat, Gruffa takes multiple sleep darts protecting Maara.
- In the charr camp, Gruffa’s wounds are mended but the venom goes untreated. Hoping they would receive more assistance there, the warband survivors return to the Black Citadel.
- Taaga and Vesper, believed to have fallen in combat are in fact affected by paralyzing toxin and shipped to Ebonhawke to be transported to Elona as specimens.
- Following completion of Gruffa’s weapon design, the warband is assigned deeper into ghost infested territory East of the Citadel to work with established containment units.
- The warband encounters members of the Durmand Priory who are on a mission to study the effects of Foefire.
- With their territory overlapping, the warband and the Priory expedition are involved in a few more encounters during which they share resources and assist one another.
- Priory expedition and their stories foster an interest in Tyrian history in Maara.
- Intended brief period of downtime turns into a long stationing within Citadel walls during which the warband performs minor work in surrounding territories. Gruffa focuses on weapon development work for the Iron Legion.

- During an unapproved rescue attempt without the support of the accompanying Blood Warband, Shield warband suffers severe injuries along with the loss of Gozak Shieldshatter who died in combat.
- Vesper Dawnshield is rescued from Flame Legion and tended to by Shield warband which he later joins.
