¶ Description
Numerous black spots covered the stocky and well built cherry brown form of this youthful looking charr. Her sheer size and shape definitely gave her that intimidating intensity that made her distinctly intimidating on the first glance. Still, the friendly if a little serious face mellowed down that initial impression.
Valiona would best be characterized as a calm and collected, serious, down to earth person. She is simple and she takes this simplicity as a point of pride. Her wit may not be honed like a sharp blade and her intelligence may leave her at a loss for words more often than not, but she has plenty of heart to look out for those close to her and keep them out of danger. Respectful, determined and direct, good at what she does but unlikely to step out of her comfort zone without a push.
Her calm and serious nature makes her a good and reliable soldier. Perceptive and eagle eyed, Valiona truly excels at ranged combat, particularly with a bow. A swell of bitterness and resentment surfaced with her age, mostly attributed to her background and loss. Despite this, Valiona is a good and kind friend, eager to help and protect. You could not ask for a better friend or partner, be it in matters of work or something else

| Valiona's build had a noticeable trend towards upper body strength, possibly a result of her favored weapon being a longbow. While she was certainly not disproportionate in any appreciable way, her massive torso and upper limbs looked like they packed a lot of punch. | Not the most exciting or intricate of personalities, Valiona is someone who takes her simplicity as a point of pride. Her consistency made her into a reliable and well rounded charr. | Valiona had a tendency to sometimes miss cues that others might find obvious. - Anyone who's frequented the Southern Ascalon Dragonbrand around 1325 AE has a distinct potential to have had a run-in with Valiona or her friends.
¶ History
Like the other members of Fluke Warband, Valiona grew up in the harsh environment of the Dragonbrand. Lost to the Legions and their Primus gone, the group was stuck there in aid of the Sentinels. The Brand made her into what she is today, taught her how to survive in the worst of environments, but it also took away some experiences most other charr would take for granted.
Rediscovered by the Ash Legion, the Flukes made their way into the Citadel to join the ranks of Shade Warband. Being alienated to the rest of the Legions for so long, their new assignment proved as a completely unique type of challenge.
While some of them fell in quite well, Valiona was distinctly out of place in the new order of things and as such grew resentful of the situation they were put in. In her eyes, the Legion and Warband they've been assigned to broke apart her beloved group of childhood friends and she could never forgive that.
Eventually, Valiona stepped away from the warband in search of a new place to be, but with a newfound bitterness left by her experiences. Doing odd jobs, she was exposed to less scrupulous individuals and her outlook has changed significantly. Nowadays, she finds herself working with criminal entities and this often leads her to assassinations, tracking and protection jobs.

- There is very little relation between her and her dame and sire, they are little more than a pair of names in her file.
Flukes
- Valiona is probably the most serious in this group of young charr. They are her family and even in cases where it seems they don't get along too well, they are still the most important people in her life. Just like they know everything about her, so she does about them.
¶ Tyrian Relations
With the Flukes being isolated and quite nearly lost in time, Valiona's view on most other races was sceptical and wary, a reflection of the older and pre-treaty charr stance. The fact that she lacked exposure to other Tyrian races didn't help in the slightest and as such she typically avoided interacting with them. In more recent times, she's found her opinions change as she learned more about the rest of the world and met more non-charr individuals.
